Copycat?

Here is a really good article on copying work. I've seen this come up quite a few times in the Etsy forums and my thoughts on the subject kind of vary. On the one hand...if someone rips me off, I can still be creative, they can't steal my creativity and I'll just think of something equally kick ass. (This is my, as one of my best friend's calls it, Pollyanna syndrome. LOL)

But on the other hand....I know a part of me would totally be like "Hey! That's my idea, damnit!" and be really pissed off. So, truthfully...I think I'd have to be in the situation to decide what I would do. How's that for non-committal? ha!

Anyway, I do agree with this writer's philosophy that there are very few original ideas left in the world and chances are things have been done before, you've just found a new way to do it or you have a bigger audience to see it!
